The sound is exceptionally clean; I didn't notice the muddy sound I had been living with until I tried these out. The clarity of listening to a clean vinyl record played through this system is remarkable, and sound output from the computer is very good as well, though noticeably less clean.Sonically, this setup doesn't punch with much bass, but there's enough power otherwise to make the experience, especially when sitting at the computer (a subwoofer could probably be added easily enough).
