I originally bought RTi7's from my local audio visual store. I really liked the RTi's (very good sounding and clean, but not especially attractive), but when I price checked them online to see if I had gotten a good deal (I had), I stumbled across reviews for the LSi9's and could not resist seeing if they were better. I ordered them through Crutchfield via Amazon, and they showed up in 48 hours or so -- free shipping. They are beautiful speakers to look at, and the sound is worth every penny. I hear new sounds on all my old CDs -- people breathing during the recordings of classical and piano pieces, etc.). I am now planning to switch out the RTi5 center channel which I bought with the fronts for the LSiC ... the difference between the LSi line is impressive enough to me that I figure it's worth the few hundred extra dollars for world class speakers (and did I say beautiful looking speakers, which I know shouldn't matter, but does) ...
