I don't consider myself to be an audiophile, but I do have a discerning ear and a collection of headphones from Sennheiser, Grado Labs, and Sony. These speakers are a good value for the money. The midrange and treble are great, and while the bass isn't stellar, it's better than I'd expected given the size of the speakers. The stereo imaging is good.
